• Connecting to TRAMS
  When you first start GRASP Prepare, or select the Edit Menu and then Select ODBC Datasource you are presented with the Interbase Connection Information screen.
  This screen tells GRASP Prepare how to communicate with the Interbase Database used by TRAMS.

  ODBC Connection Info

  • Interbase DSN Name
    Select an existing ODBC DSN from the list and verify all fields are completed below.
  • DSN Name
    If you need to create a new ODBC connection, replace this name with a new unique name, complete all fields below and then click New.
  • Description
    This is an Optional field where a free form description of the connection.
  • Database
    This field should contain the path to the active TRAMS database.
  • Logon ID
    This field should contain either GRASP, if you created the GRASP user in the setup, or SYSDBA. Logon ID's should always be UPPERCASE.
  • Password
    This field should contain the appropriate password that matches the Logon ID above.
  • New Button
    Click this button after completing a New set of Connection information including a Unique DSN Name.
  • Save Button
    Click save after making changes to any selected, exsisting Interbase DSN Setup.
